Dual
For the Dual Compound, two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned individually according to the desired properties of Maxxis tires.

Double Down
Double Down tires are built like the downhill tires from Maxxis: two carcass layers reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. But thanks to two 120 tpi (instead of 60 tpi) carcass plies and aramid bulge, they are much lighter and therefore ideal for hard enduro courses.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the breakdown risk also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for installation with sealant than other “tubeless ready” tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tire is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. As a result, tubeless fitting on all rims with standard dimensions is already successful on initial inflation and with little fluid.
